Recent buys!

I have recently been spending quite a bit of money on things that I tell myself I need. These are some of my favourite recent buys.

I have wanted a cap for a while but haven't been able to find one I really like. I wasn't willing to pay over £20 for one as I know I wouldn't wear it all the time. Then I found this one in Matalan! At a very reasonable £12 I popped it into my basket feeling very happy with myself. I haven't worn it yet as is has done nothing but rain since I bought it, but hopefully I can wear it soon.

I bought this top from Urban Outfitters in their fabulous sale. Not only was it a sale item but I also managed to still use my student discount card! For £9 it was definitely worth it, and its so soft!

This is my favourite item that I have recently bought. I bought it from Topshop for £26 and I thought that was a great price. Its so comfortable and soft and you can dress it up with heels and a clutch bag, or dress it down with some tights and chelsea boots.

This item is my bargain item. Originally from Topshop I thought it was going to be quite expensive but at an incredible £7.99 I couldn't resist. I bought it from The British Heart Foundation charity shop and my mother keeps trying to steal it, which means I have to wear it all the time!

I am not really the one to celebrate Halloween, I much prefer Christmas and New Year but I couldn't resist buying this munchkin pumpkin when I saw him. He is the tiniest little thing but I think he does the job.

Finally I would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! I hope you all have fun trick or treating and dressing up!

DIY: Memo Board

So for a while now I have wanted to make my own memo board. I haven't seen any in shops that I like and wanted to make it to suit me. That's when I saw this idea on Pinterest (I have OPD, obsessive pinning disorder) and thought I would give it a go. Here is my step by step guide so you can have a go too.

I chose to begin with a picture frame that I no longer needed. This is one I bought from Urban Outfitters 4 years ago. I took the glass out so I can reach through to the back.

Next I chose 4 pegs that I wanted to use for hanging my memos from. I decided on pink and brown.

Now you need blue tack, strong glue and a pair of scissors. It's time to start cutting and sticking!

After taking out the glass, I got some pretty paper and blue tacked it to the back of the frame. The best paper for this is wallpaper. Not only can you get free samples at most DIY stores, but it's also a lot stronger than normal paper. I decided on musical notes and butterflies.

Once you have it in place, put the frame back together. It doesn't matter if your paper doesn't totally cover the back, as when you put the frame on you won't be able to see it.

Now for the sticky part. Place the pegs where you want them and test them out. You don't want to stick them on to then realise they are too close together. When you are happy with the positioning, add some of the strong glue to the back and stick them on. You can always mark where you want them to go with a pencil. Leave it for 30-40 minutes for the glue to dry then hang it or place it where you want it and enjoy!

Now you have no excuse to forget anything with your lovely new memo board. I hope you found this useful and I wish you all the best with your next project!

Pink!

Cardigan: New Look - Top: Topshop - Shorts: Urban Outfitters
Socks: Topshop

Hey hey hey! So the weather brightened up the other day and I thought I would document the occasion. As you can see, I am not wearing shoes. I must admit that I am not a fan of wearing shoes and will find any excuse not to wear them. I thought seeing as it is sunny I will wear these lovely pink frilly socks instead. I am in love with the colour pink at the moment. I think it's such a lovely colour that can be worn with more or less anything.
I hope you are all well and are enjoying the weather whether it be rain or shine!

Sup Bra?

Non padded, Non under wired bra: Urban Outfitters

Non padded, Non under wired bra: American Apparel

Hello again!
I wanted to share these amazing purchases with you because they are genuinely fab. More or less ever since I started wearing bras when I was a teenager, I have always worn the padded under wired ones. You can find these in most shops. However I was introduced to these non padded, non under wired bras by my sister and I love them! I don't know about you but I found that most bras are quite uncomfortable as the wire digs into the side of me and makes me quite achey.
After trying these bras out and wearing them for a few weeks I would definitely recommend them to girls and women of all sizes. These above are small sizes. Urban Outfitters and American Apparel do a lovely collection of bras and other underwear to match!
