Day Visit To Hebden Bridge

How beautiful is this view!

Anyone else refer to canal boats as Rosie and Jim boats or is that just me?

This is part of the high street and what a cute little high street it is too. Full of quaint shops and lovely cafes it's a fabulous place to pick up something out of the ordinary.

Can you believe this is the cinema?? Beats the Odeon or Vue any day!

Blazer: H&M - Dress: H&M - Bag: New Look
Ok, so I know I have worn this blazer a few times but it is just so comfortable. I also love this dress. I have had it for a few years now and it always reappears when the weather gets nicer.

Shoes: Primark

Isn't this the prettiest train station you have ever seen! I love how they have maintained it and kept it old fashioned and traditional.

So that was my trip to Hebden Bridge! We had a lovely walk around the town and then had a wander down the canal to see the Rosie and Jim boats! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a little getaway to the countryside.

St Annes on Sea

This is one of my favourite places in St Annes. You can walk behind the waterfall and it is amazing.

How cute are these little beach huts! For £70 you can rent one for the day.

Skirt: New Look - Tshirt: Primark - Blazer: H&M - Bag: New Look
As you can see it was rather windy!

I kinda felt like Pocahontas here, so my sister decided to document the feeling.

So it was far too windy therefore the hair went up. This was taken at the entrance to walk behind the waterfall. As a small seaside town it really does have a lot to offer. With walks along the sandy beach and the fish and chips available on the pier, there is something for everyone.

Chester Zoo

Chester Zoo!

So I know it's been forever since I last blogged, but I thought I would come back with some very cute pictures of animals from Chester Zoo! After spending 3 years at Chester University I only visited the zoo once. So one weekend when my sister was visiting, we decided to have a spontaneous trip to visit the little cuties. These are some of my favourite of many many pictures. I also bought a new camera a few months ago, (after I dropped my old one in the sand) so hopefully the pictures from now on will be of better quality.

I love this picture.  However the monkeys hate it when being looked at as they can sense that it is not their true habitat, and they know that people are staring at them. There were even cracks in the glass where some of them had tried to escape. It was hard to watch them so we didn't spend much time here.

I just love how majestic he looks. Posing for the public in all his beauty. With the recent news of the American dentist killing Cecil the lion it is so hard to understand why anyone would want to harm these magnificent creatures.

This little guy just made me laugh.

Two of these guys were swimming around smiling...so cute!

Some of you may have watched Our Zoo when it was on TV. It was the story of how George Mottershead opened a zoo for the public to visit so that they could see and learn about animals not native to this country. He wanted it to be available to everyone and was met with great scrutiny by the locals at first. This (above) was the original house where the Mottershead's lived and began building their zoo. Below are pictures of his family.

These two rhinos were adorable, they followed each other all over the enclosure and looked as though they were gossiping about all the people coming to see them.

Typical meerkats sleeping and loving one another.

Another one of my favourites is this lovely girl. She was amazing. Such beautiful creatures.

So these were my favourite Chester Zoo pictures. Hopefully I will be blogging a lot more regularly now, especially seeing as I have a few days out planned this week, and a new lovely camera to many wonderful pictures on.

Santa came!

These are some of my lovely presents that I thought I would share with you all. My lovely Mommy bought me all of these beautiful things, including a curling wand, lotions, a calligraphy pen and a paper guillotine! I know that is a bit of a strange present but I can't cut in a straight line to save my life!

My fabulous sis bought me Downton Abbey!!!!! She also made me a Grey's Anatomy inspired photo frame with 'total babes' across the front. We are both huuuge fans of the show so this was an amazing surprise! I also got a hipflask, some Frozen pencils and some lovely lace shoelaces. I love changing my laces in my converse so these are perfect!

My Nanna knows me so well. Chocolate, pjs, smellys and make-up brushes. What more could a girl want?!

These beauties were from my Nan. I don't usually wear bracelets but this is so exquisite that it may pop up in some future outfit posts so watch out!

In addition I also got money and vouchers which will no doubt be spent tomorrow when we hit the sales in Manchester!

Hoping you all had a fun and festive Christmas! What did Santa bring you?
